My name is Jo Jaleel - I am a professional vocalist with 14 years of experience. As apart of a Pop duo called Lux, as well as releasing music as a solo artist under my name - Collectively our music has received airplay on BBC Radio, been endorsed by social media entrepreneur star Gary Vaynerchuk, and most recently my single ‘Twin Flame’ reached over a million people when the song featured in a viral hit video on the TikTok social media platform in 2020.
As a vocalist, I am extremely determined on always getting the right takes for the music that is provided to me - I am open to a range of styles, from R&B, Soul, Pop, Funk, and even to genres such as Jazz and Country. Rapping is also in my forte, primarily singing rhythmically vs spoken, however I am always up to a challenge.
If I feel the vocal part needs harmonies, doubles, ad libs, etc. I will provide all of these to you at no extra cost - My ethos is always to feel and do what is best for the part, and I will do just that.
